Advanced course in classical and contemporary dance

The program provides broad and detailed content, including indepth study of the La Scala dance method and the acquisition of the necessary competencies for teaching dance.

A fundamental element in the program is student teaching, which gives students the opportunity to work directly with La Scala Academy Ballet School instructors in dance lessons with pupils in order to apply what they have learned on a daily basis.

The teaching staff consists of La Scala Academy Ballet School instructors who share the invaluable experience gained from a long and brilliant stage career, transmitting both technical knowledge and interpretative sensitivity to their students. Leading experts in pedagogy, psychology, psychotherapy, medicine, physiotherapy, and music and dance history complement the core preparation, giving students specific competencies to be applied in educational contexts.
