he course allows you to learn all the necessary techniques to the construction and conservation of wigs and hairpieces. The technical-artistic coordination is entrusted to Tiziana Libardo, head of make-up and hairdressers department of the Teatro alla Scala.

Uniqueness

Currently there are no other courses in Italy for wig makers that prepare professionals who can manage the process in its entirety. The exclusivity of the course consequently leads to an easier entry into the labor market, where there are no other competitors of equal quality.

One to one

The students are followed by teachers, leading experts in the field, in a one-to-one relationship.

Flexibility

Full-time attendance, concentrated in one week per month, allows reconciliation with other study or work commitments.

Flexibility

The course involves studying full-time for five days a month, so as to allow the reconciliation with other study commitments or working.

At the students' disposal there are materials and products of the highest professional level.

Duration
Eight months from November 4, 2019 until July 31. 2020.
Attendance
Mandatory, 5 days per month, from Monday to Friday, from 9 to 18. For educational needs, some practical exercises, assistance in rehearsals and shows and the internship can occasionally take place also in evening hours and on holidays. Any absences must be justified and may not in any case exceed 25% of the scheduled hours, under penalty of exclusion from the course, unless a derogation motivated by part of the Academic Board and of the Academy Direction.
Prerequisites for admission
Be over 18 and have completed compulsory schooling.
Preferential requirements
- Work experience in the entertainment industry.
- Flexibility and willingness to reconcile one's commitments with respect to course attendance.
Venue
Accademia Teatro alla Scala – Milan.
Selection
The course is open to 12 participants. To access the course it is necessary to pass a selection test * which consists of:
- a written motivational test;
- an individual interview, aimed at verifying the motivations, the    attitudes and expectations of the candidate.
Fees
there is a registration fee of €85, to be paid with a bank transfer or with credit card, and attendance fee to be paid only with a Bank SDD (SEPA Direct Debit) in installments.
Scholarships & Loans
You can access a loan at preferential terms called "loan of honor" to pay the fee and pay by a bank. Only students whose ISEE is 17,000.00 euros or less can apply for it. The procedures for requesting the loan of honor will be specified in a special call.
