he beginning ballet courses are part of a broader curriculum offered by the La Scala Academy Dance Department. The objective is to acquaint children with the world of dance and music through lessons designed to develop their sense of rhythm and motor skills under the technical and artistic guidance of Eliane Arditi.

Duration
Five years, with a first cycle reserved for children of the 1st and 2nd class of primary school and a second cycle for children of the 3rd, 4th and 5th class of primary school. Every single annuity takes place from September to June.
Prerequisites for admission
The Beginning Ballet course is open to children enrolled in
PRIMARY school during academic year 2021-22.
Selection
Prospective pupils will be evaluated for physical aptitude by the
La Scala Academy Examining Committee, who will make the
final decision as to eligibility for admission to the Beginning
Ballet courses.
After passing the evaluation and completing the enrollment procedure, all pupils will be examined by a specialized pediatric orthopedic physician to determine whether they are fit to enroll in the course.
