Ballet school 2017/18: online the new call
    Up and coming: martina arduino

January 25th marked the beginning of the fourth edition of Un’ora di luce [“An hour of light”], a music appreciation program dedicated to inmates at San Vittore prison in Milan produced in collaboration with the Associazione Cuminetti.

This year’s program includes five concerts performed in the library of Cellblock no. 5.

Each concert is introduced by students and former students of the Academy’s Department of Management, helping the audience to gain a deeper understanding of the language of music.

A related initiative begun last year, the CD drive continues with the goal of creating an audiovisual section for the Cellblock 5 library.

You can contribute CDs to this project by donating them to the La Scala Academy – via Santa Marta 18 or to the Fondazione Milano per la Scala, via Clerici 5 – both in Milan.
