LuceLab Cinecittà

LuceLab Cinecittà is a training project for employees, managers, students and aspiring professionals in the film and entertainment industry, initiated by Cinecittà and Archivio Luce.

The Specialized Courses (professional "bottegas") include a partnership with Accademia for the creation of the craft workshop dedicated to prop and stagehands, a 500-hour course that includes the study and application of set-up techniques used on stage for the assembly, handling and disassembly of scenic elements and furnishings, including the management of the set-up onstage and backstage during the show.

The project, as a whole, aims to identify, select and train young trainees to help support the evolution of cultural and creative industry practitioners, strengthening professional skills and competencies in the sector related especially to fostering technological transition.
