(Lev Tolstoy)
This is where the Third Mission comes into play, i.e., the concrete commitment to generating a direct impact on society and culture.
Research nourishes the Third Mission, and the Third Mission—through collaborations with other institutions, local authorities, and companies, the organization and implementation of cultural events, exhibitions, continuing education courses, and other activities that make knowledge accessible to all and respond to the needs of the local area—gives concrete form to research.
This synergy transforms AFAM institutions into entities that are necessary for artistic and cultural progress, deeply rooted in the social fabric and committed to generating value for all citizens.
