The Ballet School has wrapped up its busy season: students can now enjoy a summer break before returning in September for a new year full of activities.
Among the students we will see again in 2025-26 are Sofia Kozlova, Daria Parchami, and Polina Pikiner.
Over the past few months, we have been able to observe their progress in the School's presentations, which open every Academy performance. They have worked in particular on the dance and the soldiers' scenes from Nureyev's The Nutcracker, staged at La Scala between December 2024 and January 2025.
Daria Parchami had already distinguished herself the previous year as the lead in the mazurka in Coppelia at La Scala, and in June she was the lead in Paquita, also at La Scala.
Sofia, Daria, and Polina are supported in their careers by the ‘Young Ukrainian Artists in Training’ project, run by the Academy thanks to the MilanoAiutaUcraina fund of the Fondazione di Comunità di Milano, created to support war refugees.
