Are you authors?Are you editors? You want to contribute to increase the Accademia Teatro alla Scala library? The Accademia del Teatro alla Scala has recently started a project wich consist in the increase of it own library.
The main objective of the project is to:
- supply, through the books present in the Acamedy, a scientific basis and a cultural thickness to the formative activity;
- offer a service to the students and teachers through the consultation and the usurfruct of educational material;
- develop and improve the possibility to update methods, problems and the prospect for the performing arts training.
With the aim of the realisation of the project, we will be thanksful to the authors, editors, collectors and passionates who want to contribute to the extension of the library giving to the Academy texts as:
- essays on compositors and works;
- history of music, theater, dance or performing arts;
- specific dictionaries (music, theater);
- bibliographic catalogs (instrumental repertories, discographical repertories);
- facsimile of musical autographs;
- editorial catalogs; - opera books;
- publications (on theaters, istitutions, chronology of musical seasons);
- lyric opera scores, symphonic and chamber music;
- adress books;
- audiovisual supports as cd and dvd.
