Children's chorus beginners

In order to attend the Accademia Teatro alla Scala Children’s Chorus - established in 2010 and which carries on the tradition of the Teatro alla Scala Children’s Chorus, founded in 1984 - students must first attend the Beginners Course, which lasts two years, which is also overseen by Bruno Casoni. The beginner’s course includes chorus singing practice, individual voice training, singing theory and solfeggio.
The young singers meet twice weekly to study basic voice technique, music reading, and chorus singing, all in line with preparatory training for specific Scala performances.
Artistic direction for the course is carried out by Maestro Bruno Casoni, conductor of the Teatro alla Scala Chorus.

  • Music theory and solfeggio.

Duration: November, 1st 2010 – June, 9th 2011.

Frequency: Two weeks per month, Monday and Thirsday, 5.30 - 7.30 pm.

Eligibility:
  • Children born between January, 1st 1997 and January, 1st 2005 (Primary school students)

Max participants: 20.
