The training Course for Videomakers and Multimedia Stage Installations is carried out in collaboration with the INDACO Department of the Polytechnic of Milan.
Luca Scarzella is responsible for its technical-artistic coordination.
The program is spread over a 4-month period and aims to train individuals for the profession of videomaker - experts who can answer to all the needs raised during live production shows, which increasingly call for the insertion of original video, as well as video projections, during performances. Documentation of performances is also a very popular form of videomaking which requires specific audiovisual skills.
The videomaker closely follows the work process throughout the various phases of production, from ideation to the distribution of the edited piece, cooperating with a limited number of collaborators.
The course is divided up into lessons of both a practical and a theoretical nature.
The chance to meet authoritative field experts is an essential part of the experience, as participants can compare what they know with professionals. Students will also have the possibility to videotape various perfomances at important Italian theatres staging opera, drama, musicals and dance.

Practical exercises in the theatre
Duration: November - April, for an amount of 350 hours, of which one part involves lessons in theory and the other practical training.
Frequency: daily, Monday - Friday, 4-6 hours per day.

Basic videotaping skills and the ability to work in groups.

Preference given to individuals with theatre and live production background and experience.
Max participants: 12.
